Ingredients

  • 1 cup Daisy Cottage Cheese, blended
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 8 ounce can tomato puree
  • 15 ounce can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 2-3 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriandar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 2 bay leaves, optional

Directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add all ingredients and mix well. Bring to a boil. Taste and adjust garam masala as needed. Cook 10-12 minutes to thicken (sauce will continue to thicken off-heat as it cools).
  2. Serve over rice or serve with bread such as pita or naan.
