Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef or sausage
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 cups marinara
  • 1 pound dry pasta
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Daisy French Onion Dip
  • 1 cup Daisy Cottage Cheese, blended
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2/3 cups grated parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Season meat with salt and pepper. Cook in a large skillet until no longer pink. Remove any excess liquid. Reserve ½ cup marinara. Add remainder to skillet and stir. Set aside.
  3. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions and drain. Place in a large bowl with butter and reserved ½ cup marinara and toss to combine.
  4. Combine cream cheese, dip, and cottage cheese.
  5. Spread half the pasta into the bottom of a 9x13” pan. Smooth cheese mixture on top. Top with remaining pasta. Add meat sauce evenly and top with cheese.
  6. Bake 30-40 minutes, until hot and bubbly. If cheese begins to brown too quickly, tent with foil for remainder of cooking time. Remove and rest for 15 minutes before serving.
