Serves: 4 (1-1/2 cups per serving)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups egg noodles
  • 1 pound beef sirloin
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, cleaned and quartered
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup Daisy Sour Cream

Directions

Cook the noodles as directed on the package. Drain the noodles and keep them warm. Slice the beef into thin bite-sized strips. Mix the flour, salt and pepper in pie plate; toss beef strips in flour until coated. Heat 1 tablespoon oil and 1 tablespoon butter in 12-inch heavy skillet. Brown half of the beef strips and the mushrooms over medium-high heat; remove to a clean bowl. Repeat with remaining oil, butter and beef; add to prior batch of beef. Add the onion, garlic and broth to the skillet; cook for 1 minute, scraping up brown bits from the bottom of the skillet. Add the beef mixture back to skillet. Turn off the heat. Stir in the sour cream and simmer on low until heated through; do not boil. Spoon the beef mixture over noodles to serve.

This is a staple at our house. We eat it ever couple of weeks because it is so easy to whip up and the leftovers are amazing as well. I love the new squeeze daisy sour cream that I received complementary for testing purposes. It is so easy to add just the right amount of sour cream to your dish!

This is a favorite around our house. We have it at least 2 times a month. And we love Daisy sour cream so we always have it on hand. The squeeze pouch makes it easy to add in an extra little or an extra lot to our dish. I got the new squeeze ouch free for review purposes :)

I sour cream. I try to think of all types of recipes to use sour cream in. My favorite is Stroganoff. It's hearty and heart warming. I love to make it in my crockpot and let it cook all day. With the new squeeze bottle sour cream, I can make sure I am getting every bit out of my purchase.

We've had stroganoff before but couldn't remember the recipe off the top of our heads so we found this recipe here. We love Daisy sour cream so we set out got all the ingredients including the new squeeze sour cream which we got free for review purposes. We got it all cooked up and man it was the best stroganoff we've ever had!

I had to modify this recipe a little bit since I'm gluten-intolerant but it was a HUGE hit in my home!! We substituted the noodles for brown rice

I got a coupon from influenster to try out the squeeze sour cream for free. This made it so easy to measure for this recipe. I made this last night and it was so good. It was super easy and the family liked it. I will definitely will make this again when I need a quick and easy meal.
