16 ounces egg noodles

2 tablespoons butter, melted

2 cups mushrooms, sliced

3 cups Daisy Brand Cottage Cheese

2 cups Daisy Brand Sour Cream

1 cup pecan halves

1/2 cup green onions, sliced

2 tablespoons dry sherry

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon roasted garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper

1 cup Romano cheese, shredded
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cook the noodles according to the package directions and drain. Combine the noodles with 1 tablespoon of melted butter in a large bowl. Sauté the mushrooms lightly in remaining 1 tablespoon butter and add to the noodles. In a medium size bowl, combine the cottage cheese, sour cream, pecans, green onions, sherry, soy sauce, minced garlic and ground red pepper. Add the cottage cheese mixture to the noodle mixture and toss to blend. Pour into a buttered 9x13-inch casserole dish and sprinkle with the shredded Romano cheese. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
