Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Daisy Brand Sour Cream
  • 1 1/2 cups low fat buttermilk

Directions

Mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. Add the eggs, buttermilk, and the sour cream to the flour mixture. Beat until smooth. Pour 1/4-1/3 cup of batter onto the middle of a hot waffle iron sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Cook approximately 3-4 minutes, until waffles are light brown and fluffy. Serve topped with powdered sugar, fruit or syrup. *Optional: Try adding in 1 cup of your favorite berries or mashed banana to the batter.
