Layered Cheese, Bean, and Avocado Dip

Ingredients

15 ounce can black beans, rinsed and drained

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon grated lime zest

1 medium avocado, diced

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 Roma tomato, diced

1 1/4 cups Daisy Brand Cottage Cheese

2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
Directions
Layer the black beans on a 10-inch serving plate. Sprinkle the beans with chili powder, cumin and lime peel. Layer the avocado over the beans; drizzle with lime juice. Top with diced tomatoes. Stir the cilantro into the cottage cheese; layer over tomatoes. If desired, sprinkle with a little additional chili powder, shredded lettuce, and shredded cheese. Serve with chips. For a heartier meal, add grilled chicken or ground beef. *Optional: Ancho chili powder may be substituted for regular chili powder.
