History 1910's

History

The first generation of the family began selling cheese out of a horse-drawn cart in 1917, when a young man named Louis had a vision to provide high quality dairy products to families on the west side of Chicago.
In the 1920’s, the name Daisy Brand was chosen and Louis diversified by producing and selling multiple dairy products including yogurt, butter, cream cheese and sour cream for local consumption.
